Manassas celebrates Latin American cultures

Manassas will welcome the 5th annual Latin American Artisans and Entrepreneurs Expo coming in mid-May.

This multi-cultural event has been created to celebrate Latin American culture with food, art, live music, folkloric dances and crafts that display the rich culture and heritage of each country.

Exhibitors will include artisans displaying and vending colorful homemade high-quality traditional crafts, and food vendors offering their country's traditional fare. Latin American organizations will be selling their goods and services while government agencies and non-profits will be passing out information about their missions, goals, locations and hours of operation.

Entertainment this year will be headlined by the Joe Falero Band. Other groups will include Latin pop rock band Ocho De Bastos, Zip Code Rock Band, and individual talents of national tennis, track, swimming star turned Zumba fitness instructor Rochi Bracale and Afro-Peruvian dancer Latin Angela.

Three sponsorships levels are available including the $1000 Friend of Larexpo and the $1500 to $2500 Latino Community Sponsor. The $3000 to $5000 Mission sponsor will include a 10' by 10' exhibitor space, recognition award, media coverage, and Logo Design on printed and digital marketing venues. Sponsors at this level will also need to get their Logo Design to the organizers before the event Welcome to the City Banner printing is done.

The Latin American Artisans and Entrepreneurs Expo will take place Sunday, May 19th from 11:00 am to 6:00 pm at the Harris Pavilion, 9201 Center Street.
