Our area has some unusual options for celebrating New Year’s Eve this year.
Gatsby’s DC Fireworks New Year’s Eve Yacht Party 2019 will be aboard the Mount Vernon Spirit Yacht. Guests will be treated to an open bar, buffet style dinner, and party favors with a Roaring 20’s theme. Two DJs will be providing music, and VIPs will receive commemorative captain’s hats. The three-hour cruise will be around National Harbor and include the Alexandria’s Firework Show.
Manassas guests are invited to dress in Roaring 20’s attire – flapper, zoot suits, etc. Pictures taken at events such as this can go to local Stationery printers for the yacht’s advertising brochure printing.
Another way to spend New Year’s Eve is at the circus at the New Year’s Eve Cirque du 2019 International Celebration of Many Nations Gala.
Cirque performances will be going on all night. There will be two live bands, Dr. Fu and Herr Metal, and 20 international-themed celebrations in five ballrooms and two party rooms.
Some shows will include African, Tahitian Polynesian, New Zealand, Irish, Chinese Lion and Mexican dances. The event will also have strolling entertainers, karaoke, party favors, a ball drop and champagne at midnight.
The Gatsby’s DC Fireworks New Year’s Eve Yacht Party 2019 will leave Commercial Pier at 10 pm sharp.
The Cirque du 2019 Gala will take place at the Omni Shoreham Hotel, 2500 Calvert Street Northwest, DC.
