Long-running fair comes round again

Manassas locals and others from around the area are invited to attend the 33rd Annual Manassas Fall Jubilee this month.

The Jubilee is intended to celebrate the rich history of the local area in a family friendly environment. Although the event will be free, the vendors will be expecting payments for goods or services.

This year, the celebration will feature a range of crafters, games, live music, and a variety of entertainment. There will also be a cornhole tournament on the Manassas Museum lawn and a pumpkin pie baking contest on the Main Stage downtown.

Live music will be offered on the event's Main Stage, courtesy of DarcyDawn & Company and Kitty and the Fat Cats. Performance art will be offered on the Community Stage (under Harris Pavilion) featuring ballet, high steppers, belly dancing, and martial arts. There will also be games and activities for children of all ages.

Those planning to man community booths may wish to make arrangements ahead of time to have Promotional Products available for those that stop by. Pumpkins of various sizes will also be on sale to help celebrate Halloween.

The Jubilee will be held Saturday, October 24 from 10:00am until 5:00pm in Historic Downtown Manassas between Center Street and Church Street. The Cornhole Tournament will be held from 10:00am to12:30pm. The tournament will charge $10 per person to participate.
