Two Manassas holiday events will be held at the McCall Studio Gallery in the new year – its 6th annual New Year Gala at the beginning of January and its 6th Annual Valentines Gala in mid-February.
The gallery’s New Year Red Carpet Gala will have the New Year Art Show, Fine Arts tour, exhibits, desserts, a poetry reading by Katherine Gotthardt, and a guest speaker artist. Each attendee will receive a small holiday gift. Local classical guitarist B Slymaker will provide the music. Other amenities will include complimentary champagne and food. RSVP is required.
The McCall Studio Gallery’s 6th Annual New Year’s Gala will take place Saturday, January 6 from 5:30 pm to 9:30 pm at the McCall Studio Gallery/DMVISUAL LLC, 9409 Battle Street.
The gallery’s 6th Annual Red-Carpet Valentines Gala will feature the Valentine’s Art Photography/Photo Illustration Show by R. Drake, who will also be the guest speaker discussing his work and its story. Guests will be able to enjoy the VA Drone Landscape Opening, music by S. Schwertfeger, champagne, complimentary food, and the gallery’s fine arts exhibits.
Admission to each event will be $55 per individual, and part of the proceeds from both galas will go to help the arts and a local non-profit.
Art galleries often take pictures of their exhibits to Stationery printers for notecards to sell in their gift shops.
The Valentines Gala will be on Saturday, February 17 from 5:30 pm to 9:30 pm.
