Still planned at the time of writing is the One Love: Arts & Music Festival coming to Manassas in late April.
A juried art show will have local artists displaying and selling their work. A Marketplace will also be onsite.
Live performances will feature visual art, music, dance, sculpture and drama. There will be an entertainment mixer and a film showcase. Performances will be 20-to-45-minute theatre, dance and music stage performances. Acoustic performances will be busking throughout downtown.
Performers will be selling their Promotional Products during and after their own stage presentations. Usually, the event brings more than 5,000 people out in attendance.
The One Love Writing segment of the festival will be at The Jirani Coffee House which will present “Spoken Word,” on Saturday, April 27 starting at 9:00 pm and “Spilled Ink” on Friday, April 26 from 7:00 pm. Spilled Ink will be local poets, authors and scribblers reciting their works at the open mic night.
The 2020 Film Showcase will feature high-quality short films, many of which in the past have gone on to receive accolades from national film festivals.
Workshops will include various genres of painting, drawing, photography and dancing.
One Love Art & Music Festival will be April 24 starting at 6:00 pm and April 25th until 10:00 pm at 9201 Center Street, Manassas.
