Heritage Festivals come to Manassas

Four festivals celebrating Latin America will take place in Manassas over the next few weeks.

The Prince William County Fair Grounds, Expo and Event Center, 10624 Dumfries Road, will feature a Bolivian Festival Sunday, September 5th and a Latin Festival on September 26th.

The Hispanic Heritage Festival will come to the Harris Pavilion September 12th from 9:00 am until 5:00 pm. Academy of Dance will have performing groups representing Puerto Rico, Brazil, Peru and Columbia. Live music will be performed by the Los Game Band, Ritmo Latino and Joe Fater. Carolina Hernandiz and Rochi Bracate will hold Zumba classes beginning at 2:00 pm.

The annual Manassas Latino Festival will be coming to the Harris Pavilion early in October. The free event has been organized to celebrate our LatinAmerican community, its heritage and contributions to Manassas, Virginia and the U.S.

Games, dance performances and Mariachi Los Amigos will be part of the entertainment. Food items with ties to Central America will be available for purchase.

Photographers often attend events like these to take colorful high-energy pictures. Many take the photos to Print shops for some poster printing or to Stationery printers to be made into notecards or Postcards.

Manassas Latino Festival will take place from 11:00 am until 5:00 pm at the Harris Pavilion, 920 Center Street in Old Town Manassas on Saturday, October 9th.
