Halloween season means return of Fields of Fear

Cox Farms will be bringing its annual Fields of Fear again beginning in the next few days.

A little over half-mile walk through the Back 40 woods will be a jaunt past spiders, chainsaws, and many other freaky encounters. Cornnightmare has morphed over the last 10 years into a truly terrifying corn maze. The Dark Side Hayride will take guests into an abandoned Lost Circus from the early 1900s where ghosts, goblins, and zombies come out when they encounter the living.

The Firegrounds will have multiple blazing fires, karaoke, and a dance floor.

The farm will also offer its decidedly less spooky daytime Fall Festival 2022. Attractions will feature a music stage with classic rock, and bluegrass artists. Everyone can slide down the six-slide Dino Slide, as well as the Castle, Barn, Treetops, Cox’s Mountain, and Volcano slides.

Manassas visitors may go on a 20-minute World Famous Hayride, visit the tractor museum, goat village, and mining company. There will be Halloween-themed fun tunnels. The Cornmundrum will be a winding path through a maze of caves, jungles pirates, and a vortex.

Businesses that have specially themed attractions like this often have pictures taken to local Print shops to be placed in their advertising materials.

Field of Fears will run Friday and Saturday nights from this Friday, September 23 through Saturday, November 5 from 7:30 pm to 11:30 pm at Cox Farms, 15621 Braddock Road, Centreville. Tickets are $25 for value, $30 for regular times, and $35 for peak hours.
