The City of Manassas, together with event sponsor Inisfail, has announced the date and time of the 2023 Greater Manassas St. Patrick’s Day Parade, where over 3,000 spectators are expected.
Local Irish dancers, pipe bands, civic groups, businesses, and organizations are expected to participate. Last year’s parade included entries such as the Boyle School of Irish Dance, Phoenix Irish Dance Academy, City of Alexandria Pipes & Drums, the city of Winchester Pipes & Drums, and the Notre Dame Alumni Band of Washington, DC.
Spectators are advised to arrive around an hour early to be sure to get good places to stand or sit along the parade route. Low profile chairs are welcome.
Many parade entries are no doubt busily arrange this flyer printing to accompany the candy and trinkets that will be handed out to the crowd lining the streets.
The route will begin at the intersection of Quarry Road and Prescott Avenue. It will go around the corner to Center Street and proceed down to West Street, where the reviewing stand will be located. The parade will disband at the Harris Pavilion entrance.
Sponsorships from $75 to $1,000 are still available. Business card size and larger advertisements featuring each sponsor’s Logo Design will be included in the official parade programs distributed during and before the parade.
The 2023 Greater Manassas St. Patrick’s Day Parade will take place Saturday, March 11 starting at 11:00 am.
