Black Christmas ahead in Manassas

For all Manassas country music fans, and those looking for a little something different, Clint Black will soon be in town to brighten the Yuletide season with a musical evening of holiday songs.

He will present one performance of his Clint Black Christmas show, pulling songs from his festive album ‘Looking for Christmas’, which was released in 1995, and his ‘Christmas with You’, which was released in 2004, Black will be performing his original Christmas songs such as ‘Milk and Cookies’, as well as his other hits.

Over the last 25 years, the singer has had about two dozen #1 hit singles, and about the same number of top five and Top 10 hits, all of which he wrote himself . He has had triple platinum-selling albums such as ‘Killin Time’ and ‘Put Yourself in My Shoes’ which also contained songs that he wrote and sang.

He also wrote songs for albums that went platinum for other groups, such as Little Big Town’s ‘The Road to Here’. Having written, recorded and released more than 100 songs, the performer has sold more than 20 million albums worldwide. Plenty of poster printing has been done through the years showing him wearing that signature black hat.

Black’s holiday performance is scheduled for December 13, at 8:00 pm, at the Hylton Performing Arts Center’s Merchant Hall, 109 George Mason Circle, Manassas.
