A cat yoga session designed for families is coming to Fairfax, allowing participants find tranquility while at the same time helping felines find their forever homes.
The Purr-fectly Pawsitive Family Cat Yoga session is opening registration online to Fairfax families who want to experience a new way to let go of stress and enjoy the therapeutic benefits of connecting with animal friends. Participants will breathe, stretch, and hold their favorite poses while kitties roam the space and play.
The class will be led by a certified yoga instructor with the tone intended to allow children as young as six years old to participate. A guided meditation will cap off the session, leaving time for registered guests to play and connect with the kittens. Flyer printing offers an affordable and effective way to promote events like this through grassroots channels in town.
Families who sign up can enjoy the mindfulness that comes with spending time with animals and other like-minded people in the community. The yoga session will also support Patriot Pawsabilities Cat Lounge in helping cats in the community find their forever home.
The yoga class will be held at 10687 Braddock Road in Fairfax. The official date is Saturday, June 6, with the session kicking off at 10:30 AM. General admission is $29 per person online.
