Now that summer is coming to an end, Fairfax residents are already looking forward to a Halloween-themed festival taking place in October.
The 2026 Annual Halloween Carnival has come to represent one of the ways in which locals can usher in the autumn season, with a variety of activities for guests to enjoy throughout the day. These include games for children, an onsite lunch, photo opportunities, chess competitions, and prizes. At the time of writing, the organizers say 13 vendors have confirmed their attendance.
In addition to the festivities, this event provides a unique glimpse into the history of the Fairfax railroad. Guests can spend time wandering through the Fairfax Station Railroad Museum to better appreciate how this industry shaped the town, as well as some of its nearby communities.
Annual events that appeal to a diverse audience will often use advertising techniques like banner printing, as this type of signage can be hung in various locations. Other approaches may include distributing mass-produced Flyers and placing leaflets in areas known to the public.
The 2026 Annual Halloween Carnival is being held on Sunday, October 25 from 10 AM to 3 PM. All events will be hosted within the Fairfax Station Railroad Museum located at 11200 Fairfax Station Road, which is only four miles from downtown Fairfax. There is no charge to attend.
