Korean food festival returns to Fairfax

Fairfax residents who love traditional Korean food are expected to attend a large festival taking place in November.

The 2026 Fairfax County Kimchi Festival will be featuring a number of vendors, and it promises a day of palate-pleasing fun. As the title suggests, the main focus of this event will involve kimchi dishes that have been prepared by local restaurants. The type of kimchi will vary between providers. From spicy recipes to modern flavors, guests can sample an array of possibilities.

Kimchi is arguably one of the most well-known foods associated with the Korean peninsula. This dish consists of fermented vegetables that have been salted, seasonings such as garlic, fish sauce, and a red chili powder known in Korean as gochutgaru. Onsite chefs will also be providing kimchi cooking demonstrations to those who are interested.

Culturally significant events have been known to employ advertising techniques specifically designed to appeal to a certain target demographic. Banner printing services capable of employing Korean fonts, Posters displaying the main attractions, and Brochures providing contact details are three relevant examples.

The 2026 Fairfax County Kimchi Festival is being celebrated on Saturday, November 7 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM. All events will be hosted within the Fairfax County Government Center located at 12000 Government Center Parkway. No tickets are needed, and this is a free festival.
