Orem parents can start looking forward to the city’s annual Easter Egg Hunt, which is taking place next weekend.
Thankfully for parents who enjoy the grin on the little ones’ faces when they find that special treat, the Orem Recreational Department has a long tradition of presenting the hunt for eggs along with a visit from the Easter Bunny. As in past years, each age group of children 11 years and younger will have separate field locations for their hunts.
Members of the Orem community are already busily inserting jelly beans, chocolate candies, and small toys into plastic eggs for the little ones to search for. Families will once again have an opportunity to spend time with their kids and create those memories that last a lifetime. Pictures taken during the event can be taken to local printing companies and made into prints to be sent to relatives to be included in the festivities.
Families will want to be there on time (or arrive early) as the field often gets pretty well cleaned out of treats in a matter of minutes; especially the area designated to the older kids.
This year’s event will once again be held at Mountain View High School football stadium and the Orem Fitness Center. It begins at 9:00 am on Saturday, April 19.
