Orem theater to host popular performance groups
An Orem performance space will bring several inspiring and popular bands together for a selection of concerts in late December.
Caleb Chapman’s CRESCENT CHRISTMAS is a show where groups of young performers come together to bring holiday cheer to audiences by taking on classic songs.
The lineup includes the Little Big Band, the Crescent Super Band, and the Voodoo Orchestra. These groups all feature musicians and vocalists between the ages of 10 and 18, who hone their craft with instructors from Caleb Chapman’s Soundhouse.
Caleb Chapman is a highly regarded musician, director, author, producer, and teacher. His groups have toured around the world, amassed large collections of awards, performed with award-winning stars, and offered young talent a unique platform.
Chapman himself has not only created the Soundhouse, but continues to direct concerts and maintain his own performing schedule.
Tickets are $12 for seniors, and for children between the ages of three and eleven. Adult passes are $14. These can be purchased from the venue’s website, or their box office.
Bands will often have merchandise available at events that display their logo design, to further promote their music.
The location for the event will be the SCERA Center for the Arts, which can be found at 745 S State St, Orem.
Each show is scheduled to start at 7:00pm. The current dates are December 18th, 19th, and 20th.
