Revere Health is presenting its yearly Lucky Laces 5k and Fitness Fair in a few days.
The 5K will be a non-competitive run/walk through the venue. Although the event will be free, registration will be needed. The first 200 registrants to register early will receive swag Bags and complimentary breakfasts.
Revere Health will be offering screenings at the Fitness Fair. Local fitness companies and health organizations will facilitate interactive activities, display exhibits, and give demonstrations. Some of the participating businesses will be All American Gymnastics, Nutrishop, Ideal Image, Honestly Essential, the Institute of Healing Arts, and Blender Bottle.
This year, the event will be raffling off prizes such as a smartwatch activity tracker and a jogging stroller. The sway Bags will be filled with Promotional Products, discount coupons and items donated by local fitness and health businesses.
The two activities will run simultaneously throughout the morning. A half-hour before the race begins check-in will open, screenings will begin and vendors will start operating. Right before the race, there will be a keynote speaker.
Lucky Laces 5k and Fitness Fair will be on St. Patrick’s Day, which is this Saturday, March 17 from 8:00 am until 11:00 am at University Place, 575 East University Parkway. The event will take place next to Swig. For those not interested in the sway Bags or breakfast, tickets are still available.
