Orem gets tribute concerts
CineStage will be offering a series of six tribute concerts. The first will be in a couple of weeks and will feature an evening of reggae. The two after that will be celebrating Garth Brooks and taking a nostalgic look at Motown.
In the ‘Tribute to Reggae Show’, Junior Maile and his friends will be performing classic Bob Marley favorites such as ‘Three Little Birds’, ‘No Woman No Cry’ and ‘Redemption Song’. The audience will be invited to sing along.
Early in February the venue will turn its sights to Garth Brooks as artist Doug Lane and friends will be singing classics such as ‘Thunder Rolls’, ‘The Dance’ and ‘Friends in Low Places’. The audience will be singing along too.
Motown will be the theme of the final tribute concert in February. Motion Coaster’s Dee Kei and friends will be belting out such classics as ‘Ain’t No Sunshine’ and ‘I Heard It Through the Grapevine’.
Concerts coming up in March and April will be tributes to Disney, Billy Joel, and Adele. Fans may like to bring memorabilia such as promotional drinkware, shirts, and old concert flyers to show their support.
Concerts will be at Ahi Muse, 1087 S Street, Orem, starting at 7:00 pm. The reggae ones will be January 15th, February 26th and March 26th; Garth Brooks will be February 5th; and Motown will be February 19th.
