Orem facility to combine food and science
A business location in Orem will give kids an educational experience in an engaging way in mid-November.
Tasty Chemistry: Chemistry in Food is an interactive lesson that is a part of the “Parents Night Out” series from Little Beakers. The teacher will show the children how to identify starchy foods, work with lipids on several experiments, and craft a pH indicator device which can be applied universally.
Little Beakers is a “science lab for kids,” meaning that they work to educate children through various science experiments and practices while also having fun and being a place to create memories.
Kids will be fed veggies, juice, and pizza during the evening. The class is a drop-off event, meaning any parents or unregistered children will not be able to stay at the facility. It is recommended by staff that kids who are signed up for the activity are at least three years old.
Tickets are sold via the Little Beakers webpage. Those who have a membership or are registering multiple kids can get a discounted cost, however, both options cannot be put together for a larger price reduction. Standard pricing is $40 for one child.
Kids will spend two and a half hours at the venue, which will give parents a chance to relax or get some errands done. Brochure printing is commonly done to promote a business and their educational children’s activities. The class and dinner will be running from 6:00pm to 8:30pm on the 20th November.
