Orem children go to Halloween Carnival
Many events are scheduled for the weekend right before Halloween. One is the Provo Halloween Carnival.
Orem children will receive swag bags of goodies when they arrive. The Hansel and Gretel room will have crafts for all ages, and some little guests will enjoy looking for clues around the venue on a Scavenger Hunt.
Fortnite Blaster Tag will be a live version of the hit video game, while Lights Out Haunted House is so intense and frightening that it is geared to children 10 years old and older, and a magician will also entertain.
An Animal Show will feature soaring, creeping, and crawling exotic animals. Kids will not want to miss the Game Hall, which will be filled with competitive games such as obstacle courses and races. Escape Boxes will be set up for the older audience to test their puzzle-solving skills.
Everyone is encouraged to come in costume and go Trick-or-Treating around the center. Some little princesses and Supermen may spy Spiderman, PJ Masks and Rapunzel. Many parents like to take pictures at these events to take to local stationery printers for seasonal personalized stationery.
Story rooms will have interactive tales of pirates and monsters, and five-minute horror films will be running all evening.
The carnival will be October 27 at the Provo Recreation Center 320 W. 500 N. Provo. First session will be from 4:00 pm until 6:45 pm and the second will be 7:15 pm until 10:00 pm.
