Orem area offers kid-friendly end to year
With Christmas Day now over, the area has a couple of Pre-New Year’s Eve events that the whole family can enjoy.
Countdown to 2018 will have a NYC party theme. Activities will include Mobster Laser Tag, Statue of Liberty Paddle Boats, and a Club 18 Casino room. Kids can play in Coney Island inflatables and enjoy Central Park Face Painting while teens can belt out their favorite songs at Radio City Karaoke. There will be street performers, mentalists, roaming dinosaurs, and magic and animal shows.
A Paparazzi Photo Booth will allow Orem couples to dress for the occasion. Pictures taken at the booth will find their way into many Orem family 2018 calendars. This event will have two firework shows – one at 10:00 pm and the other at midnight.
Another New Year’s celebration that will come a little early will be Noon Year’s Eve. Here, there will be a countdown to the Noon Hour and a balloon drop. Members of Paul Mitchell the School-Provo will be doing face painting, Party Pipeline will be handing out balloon animals, and magician Cameron Smith and Life of the Party will be entertaining guests.
Provo’s Countdown to 2018 will be from 7:00 pm until midnight, December 30 at the Provo Recreation 320 W 500 N in Provo.
Noon Year’s Eve will be December 30 from 11:00 am until 1:00 pm at Provo Beach, 4801 N University Avenue, Ste 210, Provo.
