Native American summit brings Utahs tribes together
A summit of Native Americans is being organized in Orem for next month, setting the stage for tribal leaders to meet with state and local leadership.
The 2025 Utah Native American Summit, presented by the Utah Division of Indian Affairs, is around the corner in Orem and is hoping to bring the state’s tribes together in one setting. The summit is being organized with the assistance of Utah Valley University and features the theme “Strengthen Sovereignty through CommUNITY.”
The theme, it is hoped, will reflect the commitment to each tribe and its sovereignty while promoting cooperation with Utah’s state and local leaders for a harmonious way of life. The summit is a vital platform for Native American tribes in the Beehive State. Banner printing is a bold and memorable way to welcome guests and attendees to such summits and seminars while promoting the gatherings to passersby.
Tribal leaders can use the summit to express concerns and challenges facing their tribes while exploring new opportunities for growth and prosperity. Individuals seeking more information can contact ttso@utah.gov with questions and concerns. Updates will be added to indian.utah.gov as the summit gets closer.
Utah Valley University in Orem will host the Native American Summit on Friday, August 1st, from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Tickets are free, and reservations are open online.
