Landscape painting class brings color to Orem
A nature-based painting class is making a stop in the Orem area next month, providing residents with a creative outlet and new art skills.
Darren Gygi’s Landscape Painting class is scheduled to begin in a few weeks, and Orem residents are invited to attend and learn new painting techniques for natural landscapes. The course is an in-person event designed to help aspiring painters learn the skills to let their creativity flourish.
Gygi will help attendees imagine an immersive natural environment while learning the techniques to incorporate natural elements into the painting. The painting will focus on creating boulders, trees, and waterfalls. The class is a four-day event, and Gygi will provide instruction and encouragement throughout the event. Beginners and intermediate attendees are encouraged to sign up and reserve a spot in the course.
The course is an opportunity for art-inclined participants to take a break from work, school, and technology. Guests will learn to use color, painting tools, and creativity to create natural imagery and unleash their artistic potential. Print shops are an excellent way to make copies of the paintings for gifts to friends and family.
