A Japanese cuisine experience and tour are being planned in Orem, and food enthusiasts are encouraged to refrain from making plans to ensure attendance.
The Discover the Secrets of Japanese Food tour and experience is set to start in a few weeks, bringing attendees closer to a new culture and cuisine. The event will take participants on a tour of the many steps and secrets to preparing authentic Japanese cuisine, with options like sushi and baked goods.
The gathering will help each guest become immersed in the flavors and ingredients used. The course will begin with a theoretical explanation and walkthrough of the basic skills necessary to create savory Japanese baked goods. Attendees will also learn more about the history of Japanese cuisine, the basics of sushi-making, and tips on how to make the ideal sashimi platter for guests.
