Dickens holiday classic comes to Orem theater
Everyone will get to enjoy the exploits of Ebenezer Scrooge and company soon, as Hale Center Theater Orem will be offering two versions of Charles Dickens’ beloved classic on its two stages.
A youth version of ‘A Christmas Carol’ will be performed on the Youth Stage from December 2 to 5. This production is shorter and geared more to the little ones. Music for this version will be by David Paul Smith.
December 2, 3 and 4 performances will be at 4:30 pm and there will be three performances on Saturday, December 5 – one at 10:00 am, one at noon and one at 2:00 pm. Adult tickets are $12 and children’s tickets are $10.
The longer version of A Christmas Carol will be performed on the Main Stage from November 28 to December 23. These annual performances are geared to adults and children four years old and older. Music will be by Cody Hale.
Adult tickets range from $25 to $35, and tickets for children four to eleven years old range from $19 to $29. Tickets may be purchased online at the theater’s website.
Many theaters need both individual donations and the sale of corporate gifts in order to continue operating during this time. Hale Center Theater Orem is located at 225 West 400 North.
