A Watersaver Landscape Design workshop is scheduled to take place in San Antonio next month.
This informal hands-on class is ideal for San Antonio property owners who wish to learn how to optimize their land for water retention. Participants are encouraged to bring sketches of their yards so they can receive optimal advice on how best to proceed with their individual landscaping projects.
The class will include four presentations by individual members of the local gardening community on how to create a good landscaping design, a detailed summary of xeriscaping (gardening with minimal water), how to choose the right plants, and tips to improving soil quality. Print shops are often used by organizers of such events to create handouts and other helpful printed materials for class participants.
Everyone who attends the workshop will also receive four full-color Books that contain detailed instructions on how to develop their own water-saving landscapes. At the end of the class, all participants will get the opportunity to receive personalized advice from a consultant on their landscaping projects.
Those interested in attending the class can register online for $30 per person or $50 for two people who share the same household. Snacks, water, and coffee will be included in the registration costs.
This event is set to take place at the San Antonio Botanical Gardens on Saturday, March 7 from 8:00 am to 1:30 pm.
