A colorful spin on a popular variety of entertainment is coming to San Antonio for a few shows in late July.
Hot Wheels Monster Trucks Live is a company which puts together a show under a specific theme and tours the event. In this case the theme is “Glow Party.” This incorporates a laser light performance, theatrical effects, toy giveaways, and dance parties. The show also features iconic trucks Tiger Shark, Gunkster, Mega Wrex, BigfootⓇ, Bone Shaker, and Demo Derby. In addition, a new truck, 5-Alarm, will make its debut on this tour. 5-Alarm is a firetruck, making it unique from the other monster trucks.
There’s also a pre-show event known as Crash Zone/Power Smashers™. This allows attendees to see all the trucks and walk around the competition area. They will also be gifted souvenirs. This will take place in the hours leading up to the event, with specific times available on the Hot Wheels Monster Trucks Live website.
Tickets for each event are sold through the vendor Ticketmaster. Prices across the editions vary from $20 to $75. Companies commonly make merchandise with a special Logo Design for the tour that it will be sold during. There are two shows on July 20th, at 12:30pm and 7:30pm, as well as one show on July 21st, at 2:30pm. The venue is the Frost Bank Center.
