San Antonio to host music legends

A pair of big-name bands will be coming through San Antonio in early April.

The first of the bands to make an appearance is Journey, which formed in the early 1970s and initially consisted of Ross Valroy, Neal Schon, Prairie Prince, Gregg Rollie, and George Tickner. Over the years, many members changed, with Schon being the solo remaining member of the first line-up today. The other current members are Arnel Pineda and Jonathan Cain.

Despite the times evolving, Journey have not strayed from the sound that made them iconic, allowing them to remain popular in a changing musical landscape. Some of the group’s hits include “Don’t Stop Believin’,” “Faithfully,” “Any Way You Want It,” and “Lovin’, Touchin’, Squeezin’.”

TOTO will be joining the headlining group for the tour. Throughout their career, band members have done both solo work and projects together. Also getting their start in the 1970s, TOTO has continued to see their hits be used in big pop culture moments, expanding the band’s reach to new audiences. A few of their most popular songs are “Africa,” “Rosanna,” “Melanie,” and “Falling In Between.”

The Freedom Tour will be coming to the AT&T Center. Tickets are available through Ticketmaster at both regular and resale prices. These values range from $55 to $1,175. Merchandise printed with the Logo Design of the groups performing is often sold during shows similar to this one. The concert is scheduled to kick off at 7:30pm on April 4th.
