San Antonio stage to host holiday staple

A venue in San Antonio will serve as the stage for a few performances of a Christmas classic in early December.

Nutcracker! Magical Christmas Ballet is a Talmi Entertainment production. Their take on the 1892 ballet has been a yearly staple for North American families for over three decades. Dancers over the years have hailed from across the world, including countries such as Italy, Ukraine, Kazakhstan, Japan, Germany, Poland, and Russia. Crew members are also often found both internationally and domestically.

The story is a tale of a young girl and her Christmas Eve journey through a magical world where toys are alive, and animals are enchanted. E.T.A. Hoffman wrote the original text the show is adapted from, with the musical score being put together by Tchaikovsky.

Each event gives children from the local area the opportunity to participate with their own special roles fit for their skills. After auditions and at least six weeks of rehearsals, the kids will get to have their big moment among the incredible cast. A cost of $50 is attached in order to pay for costumes and other needs.

Ticketmaster has passes to the show for prices ranging from $35 to $180. There will be four performances across two days, three of which will take place on the second date. Flyer printing often allows for further spread of promotion of many events of this nature.

On December 8th, the curtains will rise at the Majestic Theatre for Nutcracker! Magic Christmas Ballet at 7:00pm. On December 9th, showings will start at 12:00pm, 4:00pm, and 8:00pm.
