Book lovers can unite at a free festival in San Antonio next month.
The Library Foundation is hosting the 3rd Annual San Antonio Book Festival.
During the all-day event, more than 75 authors will take part in panel discussions, readings, and book signings. Children may want to check out a special kids’ reading area or some crafts. Attendees can enjoy the themed tents focusing on topics such as technology and music. Some authors will have food demonstrations.
There will also be a marketplace where vendors will be selling Books and other products. Non-profit organizations will also have booths. Attendees can purchase food and drinks at the food trucks.
To help the event run smoothly, volunteers are needed to help greet and escort attendees, among other duties. As a thank you, volunteers can enter a raffle for several prizes.
With more than 10,000 people expected to attend, no doubt authors and vendors will take advantage of this opportunity to promote their products and services. A Stationery printing service has probably been asked to create bookmarks for exhibitors to pass out.
The fun will take place on April 11 from 10:00 am until 5:00 pm. The event will be held at the Central Library and Southwest School of Art, located on 600 Soledad Street. There is both free and paid parking in the area. For more information, call 210-225-4728.Get a Free Quote for Stationery Get a Free Quote for Books
