A culinary business in San Antonio will be giving children a chance to learn about making sweets in early August.
Baking Basics is a class for kids who are between the ages of 10 and 12, run by Central Market Cooking School. Participants will be taught about following recipes, measuring ingredients, and what is needed to make their desserts tender and delicious. The younger students will be focusing more on basic elements and practices, while older kids may get the chance to learn more difficult/advanced techniques.
Four different dishes will be created over the course of the lesson, giving everyone the opportunity to practice a variety of recipes. The desserts that will be baked are blueberry muffins, peach cobbler, chocolate cupcakes, and snickerdoodle cookies.
Students are asked to be prepared for varying temperatures in the building. A waiver needs to be signed by the adults bringing everyone to the class in order for their children to participate. Closed-toed shoes should be worn and long hair needs to be tied back. Kids will only be able to leave when the person who brought them comes back.
Entry for this tasty activity is $55, and can be bought using Eventbrite. Flyer printing is frequently completed as a method of advertising culinary experiences and classes for children. The event will take place between 2:00 pm and 4:00 pm on Tuesday, August 1.
