San Antonio celebrates whiskey

The fourth year of Whiskey Business will be held again in San Antonio, celebrating whiskey in all its variety at the Witte Museum. The event will also feature food from the local area, music, and some exhibits at the museum.

Whiskeys featured at this event will vary wildly. Some will be local or small-batch, while others may be from Scotland. Several of the brands will have representatives at the event to explain the differences in the whiskeys, as well as to offer recommendations and such. Samples of most of the varieties will be available during the event.

The Witte Museum has exhibits on subjects like natural history, Texas history, and health and wellness. Certain exhibits will be open during the whiskey event, allowing attendees to visit and explore. Part of the event will also be outdoors around the museum. Parking is available in the Breckenridge Park Parking Structure, in easy walking distance from the museum.

This event may use printing services to have informational Flyers or papers available at the event. Tickets also include access to food from top local restaurants, mostly classified as bites, as well as informational seminars about how whiskey is made. Accompanying music will be both live and DJ-generated. General admission tickets are currently on sale for $55 per person, and all attendees must be over 21. Entrance will begin at 8:00 pm on Friday, August 23.
