In-N-Out Burger has announced that it will open its second San Antonio location soon.
The restaurant opened a west side location in San Antonio last November, locating the operation at 10918 Culebra Road. The success it has enjoyed at this site prompted the chain to open the new location, and it is expected that the company will spend about $1.5 million on this new venture.
It's also planning a third San Antonio-area location in New Braunfels, which is part of the San Antonio metro area, though it is located approximately 30 miles from the city's downtown. Construction on the New Braunfels location has no announced start date.
The second store will open at 8202 North Interstate 35, in Windcrest, near Walzem Road. No exact opening date has been announced yet, although Carl Van Fleet, speaking for the company, said the opening is expected sometime in late March or early April.
Store managers could work with a banner printing company to create a colorful and durable banner to hang above the door to welcome the company's first customers. They might also want to work with a flyer printing company on a handout to be distributed near the location the week of the opening. Including a coupon on the handout can help new eateries to draw in a good turnout during their first few weeks.
