A long running television series will be bringing its live show to a San Antonio theater in mid-January.
Mystery Science Theater 3000 is a program that came from the mind of Joel Hodgson, originally airing for 11 seasons between 1988 and 1999. It was later hosted by Mike Nelson and Jonah Ray. The show follows the human host and some robot friends as they watch films that are considered to be bad, while adding their unique brand of comedy and commentary.
The Time Bubble Tour is the brand’s latest set of live shows and will be hosted by Emily Connor, who is played by Emily Marsh. This tour will feature the movie Making Contact. GPC, Tom Servo, and Crow will join Emily and the attendees for the show. Tour merchandise will be available for purchase, some featuring the show’s Logo Design.
In addition to the experience, there are a few VIP options as well. The VIP packages cost $228.50 and $152.50, with the former including a meet-and-greet with Emily and the bots.
Tickets cost between $34.50 and $84.50. Covid-19 protocol will be in place at each show, and the MST3K staff strongly encourage guests to check with their venue about any specific rules.
The show will begin at 8:00 pm on January 18, taking place at the H-E-B Performance Hall.
