Medical store opens new location

A San Antonio-based independent pharmacy, 15RX Pharmacy, recently opened its third location in the area.

The newest store from the business is located in the Helotes and Leon Valley area, at Loop 1604 and Bandera Road.

The pharmacy chain works tirelessly to help its customers with the cost of their medications. In order to do so, it has developed a large library comprising co-pay cards, which enable the pharmacy to provide their customers with brand name medications at far lower costs to them. The pharmacy's policy of using these savings cards has enabled it to provide its customers with access to costly drugs.

The chain's owner, Ritu Ajmani, said that the company’s focus is to help customers afford their medications so they can take the recommended dosages as prescribed by their doctors. Ajmani explained that the card library has over 300 trial and co-pay cards, which enables 15RX to assist patients in getting their maximum discounts at the same time they pay the lowest co-pays possible.

The newest Helotes/Leon Valley location is also a compounding pharmacy, meaning that it can combine pure chemicals to make a one-of-a-kind medication for a specific patient, according to the prescription provided by a doctor.

The San Antonio based pharmacy could work with a banner printing company to create a banner to hang over the doorway to celebrate the new store's opening.
