Food Network chef headed on tour

A star of various Food Network shows is going on tour, making a stop in San Antonio in early November.

Alton Brown is known by many for his show Good Eats, which made a comeback as Good Eats: Reloaded not too long ago. Other programs he has participated in include Iron Chef America, Cutthroat Kitchen, Chopped, Worst Cooks In America, and Food Network Star, to name a few. He has also published several Books and runs a YouTube channel as well.

The Beyond The Eats tour will allow guests to see Alton’s unique style of cooking and comedy, as well as some science experiments and music. Throughout the show, volunteers called “culinary assistants” will be chosen from the crowd randomly.

Tickets range from $45.50 to $110.50. A VIP package is available for $160.50. This contains access to premium seats, a laminate with a tour-themed Logo Design, an invite to the soundcheck, and a spot in the Q&A that follows. VIP attendees will also get early access to the merchandise shopping.

The show will take place at the Tobin Center. The venue will be at full capacity. At this time, face coverings are required. Staff will be wearing them the whole time. It is encouraged that guests do the same, although they are only required to when social distancing is not a possibility, when entering the venue, or when they are not seated.

The show will begin at 7:30pm on November 3rd.
