Two holiday favorites, Winterfest and the Reindeer Run, will both return to San Antonio this year at the North Central Baptist Hospital.
Thousands of people are invited to take part in the San Antonio community celebration. Print shops are often used by organizers of such events to create eye-catching Posters and Banners to attract the attention of those who are interested.
Returning for its second year, the 5k Reindeer Run/Walk is an event that supports the Reagan HS Spirit Club. Winners at the top of varying age groups will receive medals and prizes will be awarded to those with the best holiday costumes.
At the end of the finish line, the participants will enter the exciting setting of Winterfest. With 300,000lb of snow brought in by helicopter, adults and children of all ages are invited for winter fun on a snowy landscape. Many other festive activities, including photos with Santa, performances by local groups, and booths to purchase handcrafted holiday items will also be available. Refreshments will be offered from restaurants and food trucks.
Tickets are $5 per person and free for all children under the age of 10. A percentage of the event's proceedings will go to Brighton Center to support disabled children's education, healthcare, and therapy needs.
The holiday festivities will take place on Saturday, December 7 from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm.
