Children's show to visit San Antonio

A beloved character from several television shows will be visiting San Antonio with his friends in early April.

Daniel Tiger is the son of the original Daniel from Mister Rogers’ Neighborhood, and was one of the many friends viewers made along the way. In Daniel Tiger’s Neighborhood, the young cub Daniel lives through situations with his pals and uses them to teach kids life skills and give advice on handling their emotions. The show uses a hybrid of animation and live action scenes, the latter of which feature real families.

Daniel Tiger’s Neighborhood Live brings the young cat and his friends to the stage, with the setting being the Neighborhood Of Make-Believe. Joining in the ride are Miss Elaina, Prince Wednesday, O The Owl, and Katerina Kittycat, as well as more familiar faces. The show is an interactive event, featuring classic songs like “Won’t You Be My Neighbor?” along with some new tracks.

A Meet And Greet opportunity is available for $85, which will allow kids to get their photo taken alongside Daniel and his buddies. Masks will be required for anyone who is aged two or older. Tickets range from $29.50 to $44.50.

Merchandise featuring the show’s Logo Design will be set up for guests to shop from throughout the show. The venue is the Tobin Center and the show will begin at 6:30 pm on April 7.
