Thanks, in part, to the support of Crest Exteriors, a Plano area festival of food and fun is set to offer an afternoon with local foodie families in mind.
During the Allen Food and Wine Festival, some of the community's top chefs will be serving up their favorite dishes. This will be accompanied by a selection of wines, and there will be an assortment of activities to keep the crowd entertained throughout the afternoon.
The function, which will be held at the Village at Allen, will feature an assortment of hundreds of different wines in a selection of styles. Guests can sample the ones they wish, and they can pair them with one of the dishes that will be prepared by local chefs. There will also be vendor displays, and the public can get in on the fun when they take off their shoes and join in the grape-stomping session planned.
