An evening of spooky surprises will soon take over the Downtown Plano Arts District, extending to Haggard Park to accommodate all the proceedings.
The Rest in Plano (R.I.P.) Fest will make its return, and the eerie entertainment will have offerings for people of all ages. Costumes are encouraged and photo ops will be available.
Attendees can enjoy the live entertainment, and there will be carnival-style rides as well. Some spooky costumed characters will be strolling through the crowd and posing for pictures, and the kids can do some trick or treating.
Food and drink options may be purchased, and a selection of themed mocktails and cocktails for the adults in the crowd will be served at Fillmore Pub. There will be no entry fee charged for the event, which may provide an entertaining night out for families or groups of friends.
Many locally based activities appreciate the generous support of their corporate and community sponsors, and in turn, these functions provide a way for them to give back. Information packages for potential supporters that include custom materials prepared by a brochure printing company can be helpful in creating buy-in for an event.
Rest in Plano will bring thrills and chills to the community’s downtown on Saturday, October 24 from 5:00 pm to 10:00 pm. The city's website provides the most current information for community members and potential sponsors and vendors.
