Plano venue plans kid-friendly fun

Spring is on the way for Plano, and the animals at a local farmstead museum are excited to host a special celebration.

The Little Farmer Friday Dance that is set for Heritage Farmstead Museum will be a fun filled morning, and there's lots of activities on its agenda. It's anticipated that the tickets will sell out, if they do, they will not be available at the gate.

The kids that participate in the festivities will be invited to dance in the main barn, and they can also hop aboard for a tractor pulled wagon ride. They can visit the animals in their Pens and see how excited they are for spring’s arrival, and a crating session, games and a reading of “The Barnyard Dance” will round out the activity. It's for kids from the ages of 2 to 5, and parents or guardians are required to attend as well. The farm will remain open for two hours after the function has drawn to a close, and the families can bring a sack lunch to enjoy.

Farmstead museums and similar venues give the public an opportunity to find out where their food comes from as well as the history of agriculture through the years. A brochure printing company can prepare signage, maps, information Booklets and other materials for a historic venue.

The animals at Heritage Farm Museum will welcome kids for their Barn Dance on March 6th. A full description of the event is available on the Visit Plano website.
