Next month, the public is invited to enjoy an experience that will introduce the Plano Arts District in a special way.
The Downtown Plano Art and Wine Walk will offer a tasty way to explore its shops and services, and it will give everyone an easy way to support local businesses. They can browse and buy to their heart’s content, and as everyone is asked to keep social distancing protocols in mind, they can enjoy the experience safely.
Each of the participating establishments will have works on display crafted by Plano artists, and the ticket holders will be able to purchase any that catch their eye. There will be 15 stops on the route, and everyone who takes part will receive a tasting glass printed with a special graphic design. A variety of wine samples will be poured, and the vintages will hail from Texas, California, and other locations.
Tickets for the walk are $30 each, and along with the glasses, maps of the route will be distributed. The monies raised will be used by the Plano Arts and Heritage Foundation to fund its various initiatives that support the local artistic community.
The springtime Downtown Plano Art and Wine Walk will welcome one and all on April 24. More information and a link to purchase tickets are both available on its online listing.
