The North Texas Food Bank has built a new facility in Plano, and the public has been invited to check it out for themselves and perhaps even decide to volunteer to lend a hand to their neighbors in need.
This occasion will mark the grand opening of the facility, and there will be a ribbon cutting to celebrate the occasion. All are welcome, but the planners have asked that anyone who would like to attend register ahead of time, as this will aid in organizing the day and keep it running smoothly..
Along with the opening ceremony, there will be tours of the building so that guests can learn more about the organization and how it operates. It was noted that this expansion will make it possible for the group to feed as much as three times its current capacity, and it will be more central to the 14 counties it serves.
Anyone who attends the function will be free to come and go as they please. Poster printing can be used to create marketing materials that let the public know when and where an activity like this will be held in their area.
This new hub for the North Texas Food Bank will be hosting its grand opening celebration on September 16. There is no admission price being charged to participate.
