Plano residents invited to celebrate the end of summer

As the pool season in Plano draws to a close, the Texas Pool will be hosting an event to mark the occasion.

The facility will be playing host to a Labor Day Party, that will combine excitement in the water with fun on dry land. The grills will be ready for cooking, and the snack bar will be open, Patrons are also welcome to bring along their coolers filled with food and nonalcoholic beverages, and also sun canopies for the day, and to enjoy the picnic areas, which will be open.

There will also be plenty of action going on in the pool. There will be swimming, and a variety of traditional games will be played, including Marco Polo, Sharks and Minnows, and Watermelon Team Tag. Swimmers will also be invited to show off their very best cannonball to the crowd. Lifeguards will be on hand to keep an eye on those in the water. Banners can be printed to help provide an even more festive air to an occasion such as this.

This will be the final day for the regular swim season for the Texas Pool, which is located at 901 Sprinbook Drive. It will take place from 12:00 pm until 6:00 pm on September 5, and the entry fee has been set at $7.50 each.
