Plano program to open holiday season in high style

The city of Plano runs a variety of programming throughout the year to help support its business community, and one of its upcoming activities will kick off the 2022 holiday shopping season.

Dubbed “Dickens in Downtown Plano,” this free and family-friendly event will be held in the city’s Downtown Arts District. It will be filled with winter fun, including an opportunity to enjoy an activity not often seen in Texas.

The activities will be set up in locations in McCall Plaza, Haggard Park, and a section of 15th Street, and free parking will be on offer for the public. Local small businesses looking for an opportunity to engage with local residents are welcome to submit an application to set up shop, and with a visit from Santa, food trucks and other eateries, shopping options, and a slide that will boast real snow, it is expected to be a celebration that attracts considerable attention.

Spreading the word about community events to anyone who may be interested can be simple with assistance from a poster printing company. It will have many choices for its customers to choose from, and they are available at a variety of price points.

The Dickens in Downtown Plano seasonal celebration will be held on Saturday, December 3. The city's website offers further details.
