This Memorial Day, Plano’s Texas Pool will be welcoming veterans and currently serving men and women from all branches of the military to a free community-based event held in their honor.
Live entertainers will be on hand to entertain for the crowd, and there will also be a cannonball contest, raffle draws, food, and traditional pool games. The public is invited to bring along their coolers filled with refreshments, but people are asked to leave any alcoholic beverages at home. The snack bar will be an option for those who prefer to purchase their food, and admission for the afternoon will be free, though donations will be appreciated. Poster printing can be used by those who organize an event like this to craft items that market it to people in the local area and further afield as well.
The event, which will be family friendly, will also be observing the national moment of remembrance that will be taking part all across the country, and this will be held at 3:00 pm. Guests are requested to honor those who have severed, along with the fallen heroes, by participating in this tradition.
The Live Free-Swim Free Memorial Day Party will take place on May 29th, starting at 12:00 noon. Everyone is welcome, and anyone who is interested is invited to visit the community’s website.
