A family friendly event that will bring a taste of writer Charles Dickens to Texas will be coming to Plano, and everyone is welcome to join in the excitement of the day.
The city will once again be hosting Dickens in Downtown Plano, which will be taking place in the city’s Downtown Arts District. There will be lots to see and do for all ages, including live entertainment on three different stages. There will also be an assortment of attractions on site, and Santa himself may even be stopping by to meet with local children.
As a special treat just for the event, all ages will be able to try out snow tubing, challenge their friends to an ice fight, and relax during one of the carriage rides that will be offered. The city’s tree lighting ceremony is also included in the agenda for the day.
The foodies in the crowd can head to one of the food trucks that will be rolling in for the occasion, and many downtown retailers will have their doors open for shoppers to browse and buy.
