Gardeners who are trying to fill a shady corner with plants may think that they can only choose from foliage plants, but an upcoming Plano area event will turn that idea on its head.
Frisco’s Shades of Green Nursery has made arrangements to offer a class that will serve as an introduction to the joys and challenges of shade gardening. The attendees will be invited to sit in on the session at no cost, and it will be held rain or shine.
During the workshop, a horticultural expert will share their expertise, and the participants will discover the variety of flora that provide lots of color even in low light. A discussion of turfgrass alternatives is on the agenda, as is a review of the trees and shrubs that do well in the shade. Time has been built into the schedule to allow for questions and answers, and the function will run for one hour.
Offering the participants workshop packages is one way the organizers can maximize the impact of an event like his. These may be filled with informational items prepared by a brochure printing company as well as a variety of other learning materials.
Shades of Green Nursery and Landscape in Frisco will be welcoming the registrants for its Shade Gardens That pop workshop on September 25th. Everyone who Signs up is asked to be on site by 10:00 am.
