Ethiopia is a country with a history that goes back many centuries, and Plano will soon be hosting an event that will showcase its rich traditions, food, and culture.
Taste of Ethiopia and Ethiopia Day, both of which will take place in Plano Center, will give those who come out an opportunity to learn more about this East African country. There will be soccer matches, historical exhibits, a fashion show, a vendors’ market, and health screenings. The organizers have planned for it to be an event with lots to see and do, and there will be traditional Ethiopian and other food available for purchase.
The public is welcome to come and browse through the displays and have fun while finding out more about the local Ethiopian community. The organizers noted that the event will help to strengthen the connection between it and the other cultural communities that can be found in the local area, while showcasing all the nation has to offer.
