Plano event to show Easter can be fun for grown-ups too

While Easter egg hunts are often considered to be just for the kids, the organizers of an upcoming Plano event will be one again be working to prove this does not have to be the case.

An evening coming up at the Heritage Farmstead Museum will give adults a chance to participate in some egg-hunting fun. The prizes they find will include coupons, Gift Certificates, and other treats.

Over 4,000 eggs will be hidden throughout the four-acre farm complex, and there will also be food, drinks, and other fun. Each ticketholder will receive two drink coupons, and the proceeds from the event will be used to help support the various initiatives of the museum’s educational programs. A printer will be able to use banner printing and other techniques to create a variety of themed decorations that can be used during an occasion such as this.

Tickets for the occasion, which is open to those who are age 21 and up, will be offered at a price of $30 each. Museum members will have an opportunity to purchase theirs a day ahead of the general public. More information about becoming a member can be obtained by contacting 972-881-0140.

This grown-up evening Easter egg hunt will be held on March 9. March 8 will be the final date for online registration.
