This February, an event will make it easy for Plano residents to offer support to their neighbors in need. It will see members of the public enjoy tasty soups served in handcrafted bowls, and once theirs is empty, the person can take theirs home with them.
This event, which will help to support North Texas Food Banks, will feature fare prepared by local eateries. Many area companies have chosen to sponsor the fundraiser, and at least nine establishments have already signed on to prepare food for the fundraiser.
When guests arrive at the event, they will be invited to choose a bowl and it will then be filled with the soup or other fare of their choice. They can enjoy as many samples as they wish, and when they are done, they can keep the bowl as a reminder to keep their neighbors who are experiencing hardship in mind all year round.
Tickets for the fundraiser start at $40 beach, and a VIP option is also available. This includes valet parking as well as VIP seating, complimentary wine and beer, and early admission. As one of the important parts of this sort of event is to raise awareness about an issue, it can be helpful to include printed sheets that include ways people can help those in need with every bowl. These can be prepared by a printing service company.
The NTFB Perot Family Campus will be serving bowls of hope on February 27. The fundraiser will begin at 9:00 pm.
