The 2018 to 2019 academic year is on the way, and an information session planned for the Plano community will give youth and parents alike more information about options for funding their post-secondary education.
Collin College’s Financial Aid Office will be hosting a financial aid presentation, and it will cover a variety of topics. They will be giving an overview of the jargon and other terminology often used during the application process, how future students can get it started, and also what sorts of scholarships are available for those who qualify.
While the session will be taking place at Collins College, it is open to anyone who is interested, no matter where they will be going to school. There will also be time to ask questions and have them answered, and to network with other parents or caregivers, as well as for students to network with one another. A local printer can use booklet printing techniques to craft information materials for distribution during this type of event.
The information sharing event has been planned for the evening of October 2, and it will be held in the Spring Creek Campus of Collin College. It is free to participate, and more information about the event, as well as the application process for student aid, can be found on the institution’s website.
